Call for Youth Delegates: 2025 UN Human Rights Council Social Forum

Are you a passionate young advocate committed to the future of inclusive, rights-based education?
The United Nations Human Rights Council is inviting applications from youth under 30 to participate as Youth Delegates to the 2025 Social Forum. This is a powerful opportunity to bring your voice to the heart of global policy discussions.

Overview

The Social Forum of the United Nations Human Rights Council is a unique space for open and constructive dialogue between civil society, Member States, and international organizations. Held annually, it focuses on a specific theme relevant to human rights in the global context.
This yearโ€™s theme is: โ€œThe Contribution of Education to the Respect, Promotion, Protection and Fulfilment of All Human Rights for All.โ€

๐Ÿ“Œ Eligibility

Applicants must:
  1. Be under the age of 30 at the time of the forum
  2. Demonstrate a strong interest in education, human rights, or social justice
  3. Have prior experience in youth organizing, civic engagement, or advocacy (preferred but not mandatory)
  4. Be available to participate in Geneva, Switzerland from 30โ€“31 October 2025

  2. Include: A short statement of interest (max 500 words), your CV, and any relevant advocacy experience
  3. Submit your application by 20 August 2025

Important Notes

  1. This is a self-funded opportunity. Delegates are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and participation expenses.
  2. DMUN (Delegation Model United Nations) will provide accreditation support only and will not offer financial sponsorship or logistical assistance.
