Represent Signals from the Grassroots as a Delegate at the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development in Spain
Following its special accreditation by the United Nations, Signals from the Grassroots is pleased to announce a call for applications from youth to represent the organization at the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development!
About the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development
Organized by the United Nations, FfD4 will gather governments, financial institutions, civil society, academics, and other stakeholders to address financing needs for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate change, and biodiversity.
The conference will assess progress on key international financing frameworks, such as the Monterrey Consensus, Doha Declaration, and Addis Ababa Agenda, which have guided global financing for the past decades. Since the last Financing for Development conference, in Addis Ababa, new challenges have emerged, including rising debt, pressure on official development assistance, and the complexity of financing climate and biodiversity initiatives.
FfD4 presents an opportunity to develop an integrated approach, aligning financing for development, climate, and nature. The outcomes could shape a financial system that directs resources to where they are most needed, advancing progress toward a sustainable and equitable future.
